Terms of Service

Version: terms-2026-08-07 | Effective: 7 August 2026

1. The service

Merlin Script Workshop is an unofficial community-created tool for character and script creation, layout, a personal Workshop, and experimental AI artwork. Public browsing does not require an account. Saving, generation, upload, publishing, and interaction require sign-in and may be made available in tiers based on account trust, testing stage, and resource limits.

2. Your responsibilities

You must have a lawful basis for text, images, and work you submit. You may not use the service to create or distribute illegal, sexually explicit, violent, hateful, fraudulent, impersonating, privacy-invasive, or otherwise rights-infringing material. You may not attack the service, bypass limits, or share another person's API key.

3. AI content and safety review

AI output may be inaccurate or resemble existing work, and you are responsible for reviewing it before use or publication. To provide the service and prevent abuse, we may review AI inputs, reference images, and generated results; refuse generation; keep necessary records; and, depending on severity, issue warnings, apply limits, suspend access, remove content, or disable accounts.

4. Enforcement and appeals

Account enforcement should be supported by explainable rules and records. Appeals may be sent to 464421609@qq.com. Automated detection is not by itself a final legal determination. Permanent bans and substantial disputes may receive human review.

5. Your content

You retain the rights you hold in your content. You grant the service the permission necessary to save, display, generate, review, and share that content within the features you choose. This permission does not include default use of your content to train foundation models or LoRAs.

6. Changes to the service

Testing features, limits, or availability may change because of cost, safety, upstream providers, or maintenance. Material changes affecting user rights or obligations will result in a new agreement version and a new acceptance request.
